Two negotiators said that the European Union plans to approve the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount, on the condition that the company agrees to specific remedies. The two sides met on Tuesday and are still finalizing the exact remedial measures with the European Commission. The remedies may require Paramount to divest its joint venture with Universal Pictures. A Paramount spokesperson said the company has no comment on the ongoing regulatory approval process.
