Recently, there were reports that starting from July 1, 2026, discounts for the Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving System (ADS) advanced function package may narrow, and the one-time purchase price may increase by 3000 yuan, in addition to new car purchase subsidies from car manufacturers. A source familiar with the matter confirmed this news. A salesperson from Hongmeng Intelligent Driving told reporters, "Currently, there is a high possibility of the Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving System (ADS) advanced function package discounts narrowing, as the deadline for the 32,000 yuan price of last year's ADS Qiankun intelligent driving system is June 30th this year." According to the official pricing system, the official standard price of the Huawei Qiankun ADS advanced function package has always been 36,000 yuan, but through long-term limited-time discount activities, the price has been reduced to 32,000 yuan, and car manufacturers provide an additional subsidy of about 20,000 yuan for the purchase of new cars. After combining these two discounts, the final price for users is often 12,000 yuan. According to the latest policy, starting from July 1, the prices of the Huawei Qiankun ADS Max and Ultra versions of the advanced intelligent driving function package will revert to 35,000 yuan. After combining car manufacturer subsidies, the price of the advanced intelligent driving function package will be 15,000 yuan, requiring users to pay an additional 3,000 yuan compared to before. Some analysts believe that the root cause of this price increase is the global imbalance of supply and demand for chips, the expansion of the AI industry has increased the demand for storage chips, and the prices of DRAM and NANDFlash have soared significantly, leading to an increase in the cost of single storage chips for intelligent driving systems by 3,000 to 7,000 yuan per vehicle. Currently, some car brands have also raised the prices of their intelligent driving optional packages.
