China-Central Asia High-Level Conference on Desertification Control Held in Yinchuan, Ningxia

On the occasion of the 32nd World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, the China-Central Asia High-level Conference on Desertification Control was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia. At the conference, more than 100 representatives from China and abroad gathered to learn and discuss topics such as desertification control, soil erosion management, and saline-alkali land improvement. The delegation visited the achievements of desert control in the Mu Us sand land, inspected eco-friendly projects such as photovoltaic sand control and water-saving irrigation, and learned from China's mature desertification control technologies and experiences. Foreign representatives fully understand China's development process, advanced technologies, and practical experiences in desertification control. It is reported that, with this conference as an opportunity, Ningxia will reach cooperation agreements with relevant institutions in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, covering areas such as personnel training, technology sharing, and material support.
