The dosage form is ophthalmic preparation, with a concentration of 0.0015%, and the registration category is Class 4 for chemical drugs. This drug is suitable for reducing intraocular pressure in patients with angle-closure glaucoma and high eye pressure. According to the Minet database, the sales of Timolol Maleate Eye Drops in national public medical institutions and urban pharmacies in 2025 is expected to be 125 million yuan. Currently, Shenyang Xingqi Eye Medicine, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical, Zhejiang Jianfeng Pharmaceutical, and other companies in China have also obtained the drug registration certificate and passed the consistency evaluation. As of now, China National Pharmaceutical Group Sanyi has invested approximately 8.0583 million yuan in research and development for this project.
