Argentina has made a preliminary anti-dumping ruling against washing machines originating in China.

Recently, the Argentine Ministry of Economy issued Announcement No. 112 of 2026, making an affirmative preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of washing machines originating from China, and preliminarily ruling to continue the investigation without imposing temporary anti-dumping duties. The products involved are washing machines with a single drum capacity not exceeding 13 kg, excluding washing machines with a hot drying system, as well as washing machines with coin-operated devices or designed to be able to install coin-operated devices. The involved products have tariff numbers in the Southern Common Market of 8450.11.00, 8450.12.00, 8450.19.00, and 8450.20.20. The announcement shall come into effect on the date of its issuance.
