The registration of drone-related companies increased by over 150% last year.

Data from Qichacha shows that as of June 8th, there are a total of 118,200 drone-related companies in China. Over the past decade, the registration of drone-related companies has shown a development trajectory of "rising first, then slowing down, and then exploding". In 2025, the total annual registration reached 33,000, with a year-on-year growth rate of 158.66%, reaching a new high in nearly a decade. As of now, there have been 10,700 registered drone-related companies this year. In terms of existing companies, nearly half of them were established in the past three years, with 25.76% of them being established within the past year. In terms of urban distribution, the proportion of companies located in new first-tier cities and first-tier cities is roughly equal, totaling nearly half.
