Chinese pharmaceutical company announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tianfang Pharmaceuticals, has received the approval and issuance of the "Chemical Raw Materials Drug Market Application Approval Notice" for apixaban from the National Medical Products Administration. This drug is mainly used for the prevention of venous thromboembolism in adult patients undergoing hip or knee replacement surgery. As of the date of the announcement, Tianfang Pharmaceuticals has invested approximately 12.24 million yuan in the raw materials and preparation of this drug.
