Deepen practical cooperation in multiple areas between Hong Kong, China and Uzbekistan.

Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, led a trade delegation to Uzbekistan from June 3rd to 5th. During the visit, she met with Uzbekistan's President Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister Aripov, and Foreign Minister Kamilov, and a total of 35 memorandums and agreements were reached covering areas such as economy, trade, investment, finance, technology, and aviation. President Mirziyoyev expressed hope for further exploration of the potential economic partnerships between different regions of Uzbekistan and Hong Kong, believing that the visit of the Hong Kong trade delegation will effectively push forward this goal. Minister Kamilov noted that Hong Kong, as an international financial and commercial center, possesses unique experience and great potential, and will play an important role in advancing Uzbekistan's economic modernization and implementing high-tech cooperation projects.
