A Turkish fishing boat was attacked in the Black Sea, resulting in 1 death and 4 injuries.

According to the Turkish Coast Guard, a fishing boat flying the Turkish flag sank in the Black Sea on the 5th after being attacked, resulting in the death of one fisherman and injuries to four others. The Coast Guard stated in a public announcement that the fishing boat was attacked while fishing in waters west of the Crimea region, causing severe damage to the hull and resulting in it sinking. A nearby fishing boat came to the rescue and saved 5 injured fishermen from the sinking boat, but one seriously injured fisherman later died. The Turkish Coast Guard has not yet disclosed the specific details of the attack on the fishing boat or the reasons behind it, and no party has claimed responsibility for the attack.
