CATL and the China Iron and Steel Association launch two new energy industry group standards in the steel industry.

Recently, the "Steel Industry Energy Transformation Seminar and Industry Integration Journey - Steel Enterprises Enter Ningde Times" event was held in Liyang, Jiangsu Province. During this event, Ningde Times, in collaboration with the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, initiated the group standard work for energy storage and electrification of internal combustion locomotives in the steel industry with 8 key industry units such as Baowu Group and Ansteel Group. The standards are respectively titled "Technical Specifications for Lithium Battery Retrofitting of Internal Combustion Locomotives in the Steel Industry" and "Technical Specifications for Prefabricated Cabin Lithium-ion Battery Energy Storage Systems in the Steel Industry".
