Japanese electronics retailer Yamada Holdings and Ai Dian Wang plan to merge.

According to a statement on June 4, Japanese home appliance retailer Yamada Denki Holdings and Ai Dian Wang Group plan to merge, aiming to create a chain giant with annual sales of nearly 2.5 trillion yen. Both companies stated that the board of directors will meet on the 5th to review the merger plan and discuss related proposals. The specific terms of the merger were not disclosed by either party.
