Sotheby's auction house announced on June 2 that the number 10 jersey worn by the late "soccer king" Pel when he represented Brazil in the 1958 World Cup final will be auctioned, with an estimated price of over 6 million US dollars. According to Sotheby's, Pel had gifted this blue jersey to his teammate and good friend Dida, whose family kept it for decades. The jersey was later sent to a museum in Brazil and was auctioned off in 2004 to its current owner. The online auction, named "The Beautiful Game", will take place from June 29 to July 16, and other items for auction include the armband worn by Maradona in 1986 during the "Hand of God" incident, and equipment used by Messi.
