According to data from the Private Placement Network, as of June 2, 2026, the number of private funds with assets over 100 billion yuan has reached 139, reaching a new historical high. Among them, there are 63 private funds located in the office city of Shanghai, accounting for a high proportion of 45.32%. In contrast, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, all first-tier cities, only have 34, 13, and 1 private funds respectively.
