Standard & Poor's global May Hong Kong PMI rises to 50.4, business environment regains vitality.

According to the Wisdom Financial APP, the S&P Global Hong Kong Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for May rebounded from 48.6 in April to 50.4, re-entering the expansion range, reflecting a slight improvement in business environment. The index for the same month last year was 49.0. PMI uses 50 as the dividing line between expansion and contraction, and the rebound of the May index reflects a resurgence in overall economic activity in Hong Kong.
