The RCEP has been fully effective for three years, and tax reductions at Guangdong ports have increased significantly for three consecutive years.

In June 2026, it will mark the third anniversary of the full implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. According to information from the Guangdong Customs General Administration, since June 2, 2023, Guangdong ports have imported a total of 53.8 billion yuan worth of goods benefiting from the agreement, resulting in a reduction of 1.4 billion yuan in taxes. In the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, tax reductions have seen significant growth for three consecutive years, with increases of 8.81%, 32.35%, and 32.12% respectively.
