The General Office of the People's Government of Shanghai Municipality issued and distributed a notice on the issuance of "Several Opinions on Deepening the Construction of Shanghai Global Asset Management Center." The opinions pointed out the need to improve risk management tools for futures and derivatives. In accordance with relevant national deployment, accelerate the launch of liquefied natural gas futures and options, prepare for the development of electricity futures and computing power futures, steadily expand the shipping index futures product line, and develop new types of futures representing the development direction of new productive forces. Promote the listing of products such as the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index, SZSE 100 Index, Growth Enterprise Board Stock Index Futures and Options, and Treasury Bond Options, expand standardized interest rate derivatives underlying assets and maturities, and enrich equity, interest rate futures and options products. Expand the currency and product series of the forex market, explore the pilot trading of RMB forex futures, and broaden currency hedging tools.
