Taien Kang: Holding subsidiary initiates Phase IIb clinical trial for innovative drug ahead of schedule.

Taikang announced that its holding subsidiary, Bochuangyuan, has completed the Phase IIa clinical trial of the innovative drug CKBA cream for acne rosacea developed independently by the company. All 15 subjects have been enrolled, and preliminary results show that the inflammatory lesion count of the subjects who have completed 4 and 8 weeks of follow-up visits has significantly decreased. Patients' self-evaluation has improved by an average of 27.4% compared to baseline, with no serious adverse reactions. Therefore, the company plans to advance the Phase IIb clinical trial, and the relevant protocol formulation and preliminary screening of institutions have been completed. This project is not expected to have a significant impact on the company's finances and performance in the short term, and there are uncertainties in research and development.
