The National Health Insurance Administration has released four typical cases of drugstore insurance fraud.

In order to further deepen the management of the medical insurance fund and address prominent problems, in 2026, the National Medical Insurance Administration will continue to deploy a special campaign to crack down on illegal activities in the field of medical insurance drugs nationwide, continuously purifying the environment for the use of medical insurance funds. Starting from May 14, 2026, the National Healthcare Security Administration will carry out special spot checks on the illegal and improper use of medical insurance funds in designated retail pharmacies nationwide. In order to enhance warning education, four typical cases discovered during the special spot checks will be disclosed to the public.
