Navy's "Silk Road Ark" hospital ship sets sail to carry out the "Healthcare for Seafarers" mission.

On May 31, the Chinese Navy's "Silk Road Ark" hospital ship set sail from a military port in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, heading to the South China Sea and coastal islands along southern China to carry out the "Healthcare to the Seas" mission. During the mission, the hospital ship will provide free medical consultations, physical examinations, traditional Chinese medicine therapy, surgical treatment, health education, and other services to stationed troops and their families through a combination of on-board treatment, island visits, and home visits. At the same time, the ship will also conduct exercises for treating injured personnel at sea, mentorship for healthcare professionals, and maintenance of medical equipment.
