In April 2026, the State Energy Administration issued 237 million green certificates, involving 1.8148 million renewable energy generation projects, of which 177 million were tradable green certificates, accounting for 74.85%. In the current period, the green certificates corresponding to renewable energy generation in March 2026 were 171 million, accounting for 72.16%. In April 2026, a total of 71.1 million green certificates were traded nationwide, with 29.72 million green certificates traded in green power trading. In April 2026, a total of 41.38 million green certificates were traded separately nationwide, including 4.22 million green certificates traded from electricity production in 2024, with an average price of 1.12 yuan per certificate; 35.12 million green certificates traded from electricity production in 2025, with an average price of 4.63 yuan per certificate; and 2.04 million green certificates traded from electricity production in 2026, with an average price of 5.84 yuan per certificate.
