One coal mine in Shenmu, Shaanxi Province was ordered to suspend production and rectify issues due to "exceeding the approved coal production by more than 10%".

On May 29th, the Energy Bureau of Yulin City, Shaanxi Province issued a notice ordering the suspension and rectification of production at Bandingliangta Coal Mine in Daliuta Town, Shenmu City. The notice pointed out that during a recent city-wide coal mine safety inspection, major safety risks were found at the mine. In accordance with the regulations of the "Coal Mine Safety Production Regulations", the Energy Bureau of Yulin City ordered the suspension and rectification of production at Bandingliangta Coal Mine in Daliuta Town, Shenmu City. Just one day earlier, on May 28th, the Yulin City Safety Production Committee issued a notice of city-wide supervision on major safety accident risks, stating the need to strictly implement the main responsibility of enterprise safety production, further increase efforts in investigating and controlling major accident risks, and effectively prevent and curb the occurrence of serious and major accidents. According to the "Implementation Opinions of the Yulin City Safety Production Committee on City-level Supervision and Rectification of Major Hazards", the Yulin City Safety Production Committee decided to supervise and rectify the major safety hazard of "monthly coal production exceeding 10% of the approved production capacity" at Bandingliangta Coal Mine in Daliuta Town, Shenmu City at the city level.
