Typhoon "Rose" is gradually strengthening and moving closer to the east coast of Taiwan.
Typhoon No. 6 "Rose" was located this morning at 5 a.m. on the ocean surface approximately 1070 kilometers northeast of Manila, Philippines, at 17.2 degrees north latitude and 130.6 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is 10 levels, with a minimum central pressure of 985 hPa, and a radius of 320 to 400 kilometers. It is expected that "Rose" will move northwestward at a speed of 15 to 20 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity and approaching the ocean east of Taiwan.
