On May 29, the State Film Administration released the announcement of the nationwide film script filing and project approval for April 2026. A total of 159 films were approved for filing in this batch, including 100 feature films and 32 animated films. Among them, "Make a Wish! Snow King" was approved for project filing, marking the official entry of Mistletoe Ice City into the film industry. The scriptwriting team of the film includes Lin Li, Li Hongfu, Zhu Wenjing, and Liu Peiru. The story outline tells the tale of a snowman turning corporate workers back into children and taking them on an adventure in a different world.
