Reporters learned from a news conference held in Shenyang on the 25th to promote the high-quality development of the pet economy that in order to seize new opportunities for the development of the pet economy and build a pet-friendly city, the Shenyang Agriculture and Rural Bureau has issued the "Implementation Plan for Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Pet Economy in Shenyang". According to the plan, by 2026, Shenyang will develop 10 standardized pet breeding bases, upgrade 2 pet trading centers, attract and cultivate 5 pet enterprises, and the scale of the canine and feline industry will exceed 8 billion yuan; by 2027, Shenyang will enhance the regional brand of "Shen Pet", achieve standardized development of the full chain, and the scale of the pet canine and feline industry will exceed 10 billion yuan; by 2028, 15 pet-friendly scenic spots and 5 pet-friendly blocks will be built, and the brand of "Shen Pet Exhibition" and "Shen Pet Competition" will be promoted, with the scale of the pet canine and feline industry surpassing 12 billion yuan.
