Morocco launches anti-dumping investigation into plush blanket fabrics related to China

On May 21, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco issued announcement No. DDC/08/2026, stating that, in response to applications from Moroccan producers, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on plush blanket fabrics originating from China and Egypt. The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2025. The products involved are synthetic textile fabrics with a width exceeding 150 cm, with plush on one or both sides, dyed or printed, used for making blankets. The announcement will take effect from May 22, 2026.
