Major European stock indices closed higher.

The European Stoxx 600 index rose by 1.03%, the European Stoxx index rose by 1.73%, and the Eurozone blue-chip index rose by 1.92%. The French CAC 40 index rose by 1.84%, the Spanish IBEX index rose by 2.29%, the UK FTSE 100 index rose by 0.22%, and the German DAX index rose by 2.03%.
