The Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism issued the "Several Measures to Accelerate the High-Quality Development of Artificial Intelligence Empowering Micro Short Drama in Shanghai". Among them, it proposed to establish a municipal-level "AI+Micro Short Drama" pilot base. Support enterprises, research institutes, and universities to jointly carry out the construction and operation of pilot bases, promote artificial intelligence to deeply empower the entire chain of micro short drama content production and dissemination, and explore industry solutions with promotional and exemplary effects. Support innovation in the application of "AI+Micro Short Drama". Encourage enterprises to focus on typical application scenarios in the industry, build AI micro short drama skills database and intelligent bodies. For self-developed projects with market approval, the highest support of up to 10 million yuan will be given based on no more than 20% of the actual research and development investment.
