According to the statistics of the Gongbei Checkpoint of the Zhuhai Frontier Inspection Station of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, since the implementation of the "Macao vehicles heading north" and "Hong Kong vehicles heading north" policies in 2023, as of 11:50 am on May 25 this year, the total number of single cars entering and leaving Hong Kong and Macao through the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has officially exceeded 10 million. Flow of people, goods, and funds is accelerating, and self-driving "heading north" has become the mainstream way for Hong Kong and Macao residents to integrate into the national development, and share the policy dividends of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Currently, the number of drivers registered for the "Macao vehicles heading north" and "Hong Kong vehicles heading north" checkpoint exceeds 228,000, and the registered vehicles exceed 192,000.
