Airbus is currently in talks with Sweden on cooperation for a new type of fighter jet.

Swedish media reported that the CEO of Airbus Defense and Space, Michele Scharnhorst, stated that the company is interested in cooperating with Saab in the field of manned and unmanned combat aircraft in the future. Scharnhorst said in an interview that the company has been in discussions with the governments of Sweden and Germany. He stated that the talks are progressing well and the details are currently confidential.
