Reporters have learned that Shenyang Wahaha Rongtai Food Co., Ltd. was urged by the Shenyang Housing Provident Fund Management Center in March this year for failing to pay the housing provident fund for 273 employees during their employment. If they do not pay, the center will apply for compulsory enforcement through the court. As early as September 2025, the Shenyang Housing Provident Fund Management Center issued an administrative penalty decision, ordering Shenyang Wahaha to make up the housing provident fund payments for the employees in the amount of 13.5 million yuan. Public information shows that Shenyang Wahaha, with Zong Fuli as its legal representative and chairman, is one of the 18 factories of the Wahaha Group that had production lines shut down in 2025.
