Zhonghuan New Energy collaborates with Heimang Photovoltaic to enter the space photovoltaic industry.

On May 20, Zhonghuan New Energy issued an announcement and signed a cooperation agreement with Suzhou Heimian Optoelectronics. The two parties will establish a joint venture company to jointly research and develop perovskite/crystalline silicon tandem solar cells for application in the space field, relying on the technical achievements of the team of academician Guo Wanlin from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The theoretical efficiency of this technology can exceed 43%, with a power-weight ratio of 1.77 watts/gram. Moreover, while significantly reducing the manufacturing cost of aerospace, it can effectively solve the stability issues of components in extreme space environments.
