The Director General of the Customs General Administration Sun Meijun meets with the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature of the Netherlands, Elke Smit.

On the morning of May 20th, Sun Meijun, Director General of the General Administration of Customs, met with a delegation led by Martijn van Dam, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Safety, and Nature of the Netherlands. They jointly chaired the 17th China-Netherlands High-level Meeting on Animal and Plant Health and Food Safety, and had in-depth discussions on issues such as animal and plant quarantine, agricultural food product trade security and facilitation, and capacity building cooperation. They reached a series of consensus and signed relevant cooperation documents. Wang Jun, Deputy Director General of Customs, Martijn van Dam, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Safety, and Nature of the Netherlands, and Ambassador of the Netherlands to China, H.E Ed Kronenburg, attended the relevant activities as well.
