According to the Wisdom Financial APP, negotiations between Samsung Electronics and its largest union have collapsed, and the world's largest storage chip maker will now face a workers' strike, which will further impact its operations. Union leader Choi Seung-ho stated in Sejong city, where the negotiations took place, that a comprehensive strike will take place on Thursday after the company management rejected the mediation solution accepted by the union. After the news was announced, Samsung's stock price fell by 4.4% at one point, and the South Korean benchmark KOSPI index also plunged by over 3%.
