The national electronic pricing scale smart measurement supervision platform has been settled in 6750 units.
In January of this year, the national intelligent measurement and supervision platform for electronic weighing scales officially went online and operational. Up to now, the platform construction has achieved preliminary results, with a total of 6,750 units registered. The platform is based on the technical requirements of the "Outline for Type Evaluation of Electronic Weighing Scales," regarding anti-cheating, data traceability, and lifecycle management, and has transformed them into online supervision capabilities, achieving closed-loop management of the six major stages of electronic weighing scales: production, type approval, type evaluation, mandatory verification, maintenance, and law enforcement. Currently, the platform covers all types of units in the entire supervision chain, including 177 electronic weighing scale manufacturers, 21 type approval agencies, 21 type evaluation agencies, 2,174 measurement verification agencies, 913 authorized maintenance units, and 3,444 market supervision departments at all levels. At the same time, the platform implements a "one scale, one code" system, establishing an electronic identity card for each scale. Consumers can simply "scan" or "tap" to verify the identity information and verification status of the scale, making fair measurement visible and controllable. Next, the State Administration for Market Regulation will continue to improve the technical support system and accelerate the promotion and application of the platform.
