Survey: Over 70% of South Koreans worried about Middle East conflict and cutting expenses.

A survey report released by the South Korean Speech Revival Foundation Media Research Center on the 19th showed that over 77% of South Koreans feel economically insecure due to the delay in the Middle East conflict, with about 72% of respondents reducing their expenses and changing their consumption behavior as a result. According to Yonhap News Agency, the media research center surveyed over 1,000 people aged between 20 and 70 in April. The results showed that 77.8% of respondents felt uneasy after being exposed to information related to the Middle East conflict, mainly due to concerns about "rising oil and commodity prices" and "a worsening economy." In terms of the actual impact on daily life, 88.2% of respondents directly felt the rise in commodity prices, 72.8% of respondents reduced their expenses, and activities such as dining out, traveling, and driving were all affected.
