Stepan announces a price increase for rigid foam polyols in the Americas region effective July 1st.
Stepan has once again issued a price adjustment notice, announcing an increase in the prices of its STEPanPOL and TERATE series of rigid foam polyols in the Americas, starting from July 1, with an increase of 0.185 USD per pound. This is not a one-time price adjustment, but a second increase based on the price hike on May 15, plus the price increase implemented in April. Stepan has completed three rounds of price increases in just three months. The core reason for this round of price increases by Stepan is the simultaneous surge in raw material, energy, and logistics costs, as well as intensified geopolitical conflicts and supply chain disruptions, leading to rigid and sustained cost transmission characteristics.
