Data from the Gulf Commodity Exchange shows that on May 11th, the trading volume of Omani crude oil futures reached a historical record. The exchange, headquartered in Dubai, announced that the weekly trading volume reached 69,000 contracts, equivalent to 69 million barrels of crude oil, marking the highest weekly trading volume since the exchange was established.
