UAE Ministry of Defense: The air defense system intercepts three drones entering the country's airspace.

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense issued a statement on the 17th local time, stating that the UAE air defense system intercepted three drones entering the country's airspace from the western border direction on the same day. Two drones were successfully intercepted, while the third one hit a generator in the outskirts of the Barakah nuclear power plant in the Zayed area of Abu Dhabi. Currently, relevant departments are investigating the source of the attack. The UAE Ministry of Defense emphasized that it would maintain a comprehensive state of readiness, always be prepared to respond to any threats, and will resolutely defeat any attempt to undermine national security.
