In 2026, the application period for Beijing's points-based household registration system has ended with 94,549 people submitting applications.

On May 16th, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau announced that the application phase for the Beijing 2026 points-based household registration started at 8 a.m. on April 16th and ended at 8 p.m. on May 15th. A total of 94,549 people in the city submitted online applications for points-based household registration this year.
