Chairman of the Eurozone: Europe is ready to deal with the threat of US tariffs.

On May 4th, following the tariff threats made by US President Trump, President of the Eurogroup, Pierre Gramegna, stated that Europe is prepared to respond. Earlier, Trump announced that he would impose a 25% tariff on European Union imports of cars and trucks. Gramegna said that dialogue is always the preferred option. "We hope to be a predictable partner in the international economy, we believe in transatlantic relations. But if there is any deviation from the consensus we have reached, all options are on the table."
