The state has allocated 11.99 billion yuan of central budget funds to support the construction of Yunnan's medical and health service system.

On the 2nd, it was learned from the Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission that the country recently allocated 1.199 billion yuan of central budget funds for the second batch of the special medical and health service system in 2026, supporting 24 projects in Yunnan Province, including the safety guarantee of the provincial blood center, the improvement and capacity expansion of county-level disease control centers, the medical and health infrastructure project, the renovation of wards in urban tertiary hospitals, and the mental health services in prefecture-level cities. This will help in building a healthy Yunnan and enhance the medical and health service capabilities of the entire province.
