Pakistan denies air strikes on university and residential area in Eastern Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan issued a statement on the 27th denying reports from Afghan media that Pakistan had launched airstrikes on a university and residential area in the eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan. The statement called the reports "lies" aimed at garnering sympathy and covering up the Afghan government's support for the "Pakistan Taliban". The statement said, "Pakistan's strikes are precise and intelligence-based." The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan also accused Afghan media and officials in another statement of "continuously propagating false attacks in Kunar province." As of the time of writing, there has been no response from the Afghan side.
