Canada initiates dual anti-dumping and countervailing investigations on steel racking from China.
According to the information released by the China Trade Remedies Information Network, on April 20th, the Canada Border Services Agency announced that it will launch anti-dumping and countervailing investigations on steel shelving originating from or imported from China, in response to applications submitted by Canadian companies Arpac Storage Systems, Etalex Inc., Industries Cresswell Inc., North American Steel Equipment Inc., and the Econo-Rack Group Inc. The investigation will determine whether there is dumping and subsidization of imported goods. The products under investigation fall under Canada's customs codes 7326.90.90.90, 9403.20.00.70, 7308.90.00.60, and 7308.90.00.99. The Canada Border Services Agency will make a preliminary decision on this case within 90 days.
