The world's largest floating offshore wind power platform, "Three Gorges Navigation No. 1", officially began installation in the waters of the Qingzhou offshore wind farm in Yangjiang, Guangdong on the 25th. The single unit capacity of "Three Gorges Navigation No. 1" reaches 16 megawatts, making it the largest in China in terms of single unit capacity and highest in technology integration. It is equipped with a semi-submersible floating foundation platform with a total length of about 80.85 meters and a width of 91.04 meters, weighing approximately 7530 tons. It is planned to be deployed in the deep offshore area about 80 kilometers offshore from Yangjiang, with a water depth of about 50 meters. The project integrates multiple key technologies such as dynamic sea cables and suction anchor mooring systems, and after completion, it will verify the engineering feasibility and technical reliability of ultra-large capacity floating wind turbines in complex deep offshore environments.
