Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: China's average household mobile data usage reached a record high of 23.4GB in March.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first quarter, the total revenue of the telecommunications industry reached 439.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.8%. Calculated at constant prices from the previous year, the total volume of telecommunications services increased by 8.3% year-on-year. The growth of mobile internet traffic is accelerating, with the DOU value reaching a new high in March. In the first quarter, the total mobile internet traffic reached 104.4 billion GB, an increase of 19.1% compared to the same period last year. As of the end of March, the number of mobile internet users reached 1.623 billion, an increase of 13.48 million from the previous year. In March, the average mobile internet access traffic per household reached 23.4GB per month, a 13.8% increase year-on-year, and an increase of 0.36GB per month compared to the end of last year.
