Jiangsu accelerates the creation of AI medical innovation "strong magnetic field"

On the afternoon of April 23, the first event of the Jiangsu Province "Artificial Intelligence + Medical Health" series theme salon - the special session on the research and application of major disease specialty large models was held in Nanjing. Inside the venue, 30 leading companies such as Huawei, Ant Group, Alibaba DAMO Academy, Shukun Technology, and iFLYTEK Medical, along with more than 160 representatives from 14 key medical institutions in the province and relevant research institutes, had in-depth discussions on the technical breakthroughs and clinical applications of major disease specialty large models. From government top-level design to active enterprise layout, from clinical demand to technological breakthroughs, Jiangsu is becoming a "strong magnetic field" for AI medical innovation. Tan Ying, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, introduced that the province's health cloud data volume has reached 33PB; 21 high-quality data sets for major diseases have been established, and 13 major disease specialty large models have been developed; over 90% of the province's tertiary public hospitals have implemented artificial intelligence applications, and 30 counties have deployed grassroots intelligent diagnostic and treatment assistance systems.
