Recently, the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People's Government of Henan Province issued the "Plan to Accelerate the Construction of a Strong Agricultural Province in Henan Province". It will establish an agricultural big data platform, and set up a comprehensive observation network for agriculture involving both the sky and the ground. It will promote the construction of new information infrastructure such as 5G, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing, accelerate the application of new generation information technology in agriculture production, monitoring of animal and plant diseases, and agricultural social services. It will implement the construction project of smart agriculture, accelerate the application of new agricultural equipment, promote the digital upgrade of large-scale farms, advance the digital transformation of the entire agricultural industry chain including production, processing, and distribution of agricultural products, and promote the digital transformation of agricultural enterprises and new agricultural operating entities.
