Didi has become a key enterprise introduced into Hong Kong, allowing passengers from both places to use the same app seamlessly.

On April 20, the Hong Kong SAR Government's Invest Hong Kong held a signing ceremony for a new batch of key enterprises. Under the witness of Hong Kong SAR Government Financial Secretary Paul Chan, DiDi officially signed as one of the new batch of key enterprises to be introduced. DiDi uses the same app in Hong Kong and mainland China, making it convenient for passengers in both places to use. Since its rebranding in 2018, DiDi has provided over 7.3 million trips for local residents and tourists in Hong Kong.
