A logistics company released false information offering high salaries to recruit drivers, enticing them to sign a "car rental contract" and pay a deposit, involving over 2.8 million yuan.
On April 21, the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau announced typical cases of infringement of the rights and interests of workers. One of the cases involved suspected contract fraud for publishing false recruitment information. Basic facts of the case: After investigation, it was found that a logistics company run by a person named Li recruited individuals to form a gang, and posted false recruitment information on online platforms such as "low threshold high-paying driver recruitment, daily stable source of goods, dispatching orders near the city" to lure drivers to inquire about applying, sign "car rental contracts", and pay a deposit ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 yuan. However, the gang did not actually have a large amount of freight order channels, and forced drivers to "breach the contract" through distributing long-distance and remote orders, sending fewer orders, and illegally withholding the deposit for profit. The gang changed office addresses and company names multiple times, committing crimes in multiple places, involving over 2.8 million yuan. Currently, the suspects have been taken into custody by the police and the case is under further investigation.
