On Monday, an American rare earth company announced that it has signed a final acquisition agreement with Brazil's Serra Verde Group, with a transaction value of approximately 2.8 billion US dollars. Both parties also signed a 15-year purchase agreement, setting minimum price guarantees for four key magnetic rare earth elements.
